Kodak PlaySport Video Camera/Camera Problems?

So today I went to go in the pool and film me doing tricks off my jumping board into the pool but once I turned on my camera the screen came up for about 2 seconds then went black, but the power button on the side stayed lit up. Does anyone know what's wrong and can it be fixed? Thanks
