Can you take small dogs on a plane and keep it under you seat? if so, how much money?

how much does it how much does it cost to carry on a small dog? i am thinking about getting a new ppug puppy and am traveling to hawaii for a week. what should i be prepared for overall ( including when we and the dog are in hawaii)??? and can i simply store it under my seat in a dog carrier? also, is it true that you can take it out when the seatbelt sign is not on? how difficult would it be with a puppy? thanks, anything helps!:)

My kodak digital camera won't turn on!?!?

Hi so I have a fairly new Kodak digital 12x and I haven't used it in a couple months. I'm leaving for vacation tonight and I just took it out to test it and make sure it was working but the camera won't turn on! I thought it could've been the batteries so I got at least 3 new pairs of batteries to see if that would help but it didn't work. Whenever I would hold down the button to turn it on, the light at the top would flash green for a couple seconds then nothing would happen. When I looked into the eye lens at the top while turning it on it would flash white but then nothing would happen. Help please as fast as possible because I don't have much time left before I leave! Mother is throwing a tantrum?

Dinnertime, I was on my phone at the table, finishing a math problem and punching in some numbers on the calculator and my mom told me to leave the table if I wanted to play on my phone. I told her to wait just a second (It was probably more like 20 seconds, but it wasn't very long at all) and she tried to force my phone towards my face, screaming PUT IT AWAY and soiling it because she had sauce all over her hands. I got irritated, but left the table and wiped my phone off and went to my room. All the way there, my mom was screaming insults at me saying that I'm the worst child (I'm the oldest, and trust me, my other siblings aren't role models either.) and that I don't listen to anyone, that one day I was going to pay for all this. Okay, mom. Oh, and my dad was telling me I was stupid for not listening at the same time. I went to my room to unwind and then all of a sudden, my mom is wailing. She's SOBBING. There have been several instances that this has happened. I swear, one day, I'm going to write a book about how immature parents are. But She hasn't done this very recently so at first it seemed kind of foreign to me. And then my dad was in my room, screaming his head off, saying that she was going to strip my bank account of all its money and he wasn't going to do anything about it, and that no one was going to fund me through college, even though most of it is the money I've made. And all the while, my mom is having a tantrum. Is any of this justifiable? Is there possibly a reason for all of this madness? Or is my mom just going into early menopause? I mean, she's not that old, but she's really not that young either. Oh. and she just told me I'm going to be in pain one day, for all the things I'm making her suffer through. What is she suffering from? Someone please tell me. I'm thoroughly confused.

Why won't my 1993 Subaru Legacy start?

I just tried to replace my fuel filter, and could not get the hoses off for the life of me. I disconnected the negative side of the battery, and went under the passenger back seat and unplugged the plug (read it in a forum to unplug white plug and run car to depressurize). After I couldn't get the hoses off, I put the nut back on, re-plugged in the negative side of the battery, and plugged that plug back in under the passenger seat, and now the car won't even make a noise when I turn the key. Digital camera not recognizing certain downloaded pictures?

Hello, I just got a new Kodak Easy Share C143 camera. I had a bunch of downloaded pictures from the internet (google and facebook) on my old card. You could see all those pictures on the back screen on the camera on my old camera. But when I put that card in this new camera, only a few of the pictures show up on the screen of the camera. Only about 1/4 of them show up and the rest of them say Unreadable format. All of the pictures on the card are in the JPG format so I don't see what the problem is. What can i do to fix this? what is wrong? thanks

It all has to do with gravity and balance. When you're standing vs. sitting, you take energy away from the exercise and send it to your legs. That and if you're not sitting completely straight up at 90�, it's not the same angle and energy is also being used in a different way. Another reason is that when you use a barbell on a track, it's focusing energy to one specific area of muscle. How can I take a photo DVD and cut out the photos that are in it?

I'm working with a client of mine who wants his photos to go up on his website. The only issue is he doesn't have the originals or the digital copies, only a Photo DVD made by one of them Kodak kiosks. How can I cut out the different images, if at all possible. I tried using VLC, recording small bits in short clips, and then using Print Screen to copy the image on screen to clipboard, and then cropping the image. This is a very tedious task and am hoping there is an alternative. Any Suggestions?

Arthritis in a dog's hips.?

Does anyone know (I know there aren't any Vet's here), how to tell the very First signs of arthritis in a dog's hips? The Vet said the dog does not have arthritis, but I disagree, (no X-rays were taken, just manipulation of the legs), as I watch how she walks and gets up daily, compared to when she was younger. The Vet says it is just because she is 12 yrs. old, and stiff. Does anyone know, in any way, if she is 'stiff' or 'arthritic'? One day after a bit of a long ride where she was laying on the back seat in the Van, she got up to go outside, and wouldn't put one foot on the ground. Just her toes. After walking her slowly, a bit, she still didn't want to put full pressure on one hind leg, just the toes, again. After a walk, if she were stiff like Vet says, I would think the stiffness would be walked out of her. Any informative opinions?

I had a dream i met a flirtatious girl and she vanished?

I had a dream i was on the 2 train heading to an unknown destination.While on the train a blond white girl with black highlights who was wearing all black including black sunglasses got on the train. She started flirting with me and was very friendly. With a desire to stay in touch of her I then asked if she had a Facebook, but she said she didn't have one, then i asked for her number but she she would take mine instead because hers don't receive calls. Suddenly i believe some kind of dispute happens because she ended up having to stand up but this part is hazy to me ,maybe she got in an argument with other passengers or maybe because the train started to break down because i remember the doors being open and it started to open up in the tunnels. Then my cousin gets on the train and he sat down next to me with another passenger on the other side of him. I saw that she was still standing so i offered her my seat and i ended up standing only to find seconds later that the passenger that was sitting on the side of my cousin was gone. So now my cousin is sitting between me and the girl. But then within i blink i believe my cousin ended up on the other side which allowed me to finally sit back next to girl again. The girl and I may have talked a little more and i remember her saying she was getting off at a certain stop. But i eventually fell asleep which in that time she vanished. But when i woke up she was gone but we didn't get to the stop she said she was getting off at yet. I fell asleep again and when i woke up i ended up in the Bronx. My cousin was still there and only thing i remember him saying while we were getting off the 2 train was that JFK airport was nearby in order to fine my way back home quicker instead of getting back on the train(which know that i think of it means my destination was home) . But then he too left and i was there in the Bronx somewhere near a bridge while in some broken down buildings and platforms with two bags .And I felt so alone and lost and helpless. Not lost because i couldn't find my way back home but lost inside.

What is this essay about? It seems a contrivance for a heavy handed morality tale based on an incomprehensible situation. Also, which country is the story based in? I don't know of a civilized country where a doctor would legally be allowed to refuse treatment based on ability to pay. There is a requirement for suspension of known fact in order to relate to your story, which would usually result in a detachment from the message you are trying to convey. Also, if the doctor was so heartless that he would not even consider seeing the patient without being paid, why would he be emotionally affected by the patient's death?

Splitting a mic signal between two cameras?

Assuming you are going to edit the video (and audio) at some later point that results in the two camera shots but only one audio track, you do not need to record the same audio to both cameras. One camera gets the mic connection, the other does not. One camera has good audio recorded, the other does not. Import the video from both cameras to the video editor and sync. Mute (even remove) the audio track of the video from the camera which recorded the poor audio. What is left is the good audio used by both video sequences. This is a LOT easier when using a video editor that can deal with multiple video and audio tracks (like FinalCut or Vegas), but is possible to do with video editors that can only accommodate a single video track and single (stereo) audio tracks...

Dreamed about a dying whale?

Our vacation house is pretty close to the sea and from the garden we have a view over a small inlet. For some reason, I dreamed that there was a giant blue whale stranded there. I would see the fins first, it was on its back and helplessly wailing them around, surrounded by a bunch of small porpoise whales. Then the water sank away and the whale became more exposed, eventually lying on almost dry ground. I saw on a tv show once that a whales organs will be crushed by its own weight if it gets out of the water, and that was exactly what was happening in the dream. What would be safe to use to kill fleas on kittens 4 1/2 to 5 weeks old?

i have a outdoor cat (she's a stray), she does not like the indoors at all. i did take her a few months ago to a low cost vaccination program and got her vaccines.she had 4 kittens under the house. the kittens have eye infections which i'm treating with tea and they're getting better. i don't have the money to take them to a vet. they're also full of fleas. all i have been able to find on the internet is bathing them and using a flea comb. is apple cider vinegar safe to use on the kittens for the fleas. also, i have a tube of Terramycin antibiotic cream forthe eyes for cats and dogs, but i don't know if i can use that on the kittens, i haven't been able to find anything on that.they might still be too young. and i'm not sure how to put it on them, the package doesn't give you directions. giving them a bath won't work because she'll just take them under the house again. i've tried to put her in an old house we use as storage and work room and she goes nuts. she starts wailing, panting real hard. i've tried several times to leave her in there for an hour or more but she just goes nuts in there. i'm just not sure what to do. i want to help her and the kittens. she does trust me, she lets me hold them and wash their eyes and all kinds of things but she won't stay in the old house where they would be safer and better off. i would appreciate any suggestions, unfortunately i can't afford to take the kittens to the vet.

My Kodak EasyShare M381 camera lens is stuck open. My friend was using it to take a picture of the both of us, and I was watching, so I know she didn't drop it or anything, but she tried to take the picture, but the camera froze while focusing (the yellow brackets that focus on a person's face were still on the screen) and the camera wouldn't operate. I pressed all of the buttons, and tried to power it off multiple times, but nothing worked. The camera powered off by itself, but didn't retract the lens, so it's still open all the way. It was literally frozen. I've been trying to turn it back on for ever but nothing is working still. I have checked other yahoo answers and google searched it, but I keep getting the 'take the batteries' out situations, but my camera is chargeable and doesn't have batteries. Good 1080p video camera for less than $300?

I would say you would need to at least keep 6ft. between them for your movie effects to image well. I got into my durango last week to go to work started fine reversed fine. Then I put it into drive and in 1st gear the engine was wailing/racing with a loud noise but the rpms were at 1,500. It shifted into 2nd fine and drove great for the rest of the day. Even when I would start out in 1st gear again it was fine. Then yesturday the same thing happened in the morning and again it was fine after it shifted into second. I know its telling me that something is wrong in the Trans or TCM. I'm going to the dealer in 2 days because I'm working but the Durango is sitting at home while I drive the van to work. But my question is what part or sensor is broke or in need of repair. I'm not a big car guy so help needed!

How active are the parents in these kids lives? Especially if they had live in nannies at one point, did they do any caring at all for the children? Flipping from nanny to nanny is a lot of change in a child's life, no one to depend on. Sounds like the poor child is stressed, lonely and depressed. Maybe he wasn't taught how to comfort himself or find comfort in small things. Some children need their parents more than others for love and affection and tend to lash out constantly when feeling neglected. When he lashes like that and calms down, try asking him what is really bothering him. Encourage him t be open with you and his parents. Sometimes a child just needs someone to listen whether their problems are serious or not. Just to know someone is there. If his mom is that dismissive to you, I imagine she might be over her own child's wants as well. I feel bad for the poor guy and understand you're in a bad spot. If talking to Max and letting him know verbally he can depend on you doesn't work then I would approach the mom even if it means losing your job. If Max shares any important information about the way he feels, I would also pass this on to the parents as well.

Formatting memory card for a digital camera?

I have a kodak easyshare c180 digital camera. I used it this past week and have some very important photos on it. Someone thought they'd be smart and remove the card and now it's telling me that it needs to be formatted causing all the pictures on it to be deleted. Losing these photos is not an option. I've tried to open the files through my computer but it's still giving me the format problem. Is there anyway to bypass this just until I retrieve the photos from it?

I supervise a cleaning woman at my non profit agency. We have two bathrooms that she cleans. The bathrooms are used by about 20 women. We have no men there. Dodge Durango 05 4.7L P0700?

I got into my durango last week to go to work started fine reversed fine. Then I put it into drive and in 1st gear the engine was wailing/racing with a loud noise but the rpms were at 1,500. It shifted into 2nd fine and drove great for the rest of the day. Even when I would start out in 1st gear again it was fine. Then yesturday the same thing happened in the morning and again it was fine after it shifted into second. When I got into my car after work the Malfunction Indicator Light"Check Engine Light" came on. I did the key trick to check the code and it was P0700. I know what the code is. I know its telling me that something is wrong in the Trans or TCM. I'm going to the dealer in 2 days because I'm working but the Durango is sitting at home while I drive the van to work. 4 month old naps in her car seat?

I was just wondering if anyone else has a baby who will EASILY fall asleep in their car seat, but will fight naps everywhere else? I've tried her swing, her crib, her Pack-N-Play, and her bouncie- But she'll fight her naps like crazy. In the car seat, she just relaxes and goes to sleep. I don't even have to rock it. She still only naps for an hour or so (even when she naps on/with me, she'll only sleep an hour max. Never really been a napper, but she has been sleeping thru the night since 2 months w/ no cereal. However now she IS on cereal), but her Dr says that's fine because of how curious and observant she is. And as far as breast feeding goes, a child is going to take whatever is offered especially at such a young age where they don't know better... Anyways, you do have a good writing ability just change the story up a bit.The whole 'breast feeding' thing was a bit much and sounded too melodramatic... change the tone up, it sounds way to dramatic and angry. You didn't even explain why the speaker had so much resentment towards the younger sibling. It just made you sound angry for no reason. From the story you depicted the younger sibling as clingy and annoying but at most the speaker expresses an annoyed tone but still a loving having some sympathy as well because after all it is their brother or sister. My little brother was way worse then this and I still don't have such hateful feelings towards him. Sometimes that's how younger siblings are: annoying and selfish at times. But that's normal, however what's not normal is the speaker and how sociopathic he or she sounds

kay so the other night i was in bed and i looked to the back of my closet and i saw little faces but didnt think much of it so i went to bed again and it felt like someone was laying beside me and touching my leg then i looked up and there was this sand feather like stuff in the air it didnt fall at all but i put my fingers through it it was the weirdest thing i did that for a little while then went to bed kinda thinking it was the adavan i took and if it was a ghost kinda cool, then i felt like someone was sucking on my nipple so i rolled over and ater i saw again so turned on light and sat on my bed a there was two different boys sitting in parts of my room plus the girl in closet but when i looked at them they dissapeared i tried to talk to them and say why are you hear can you talk and stuff like that i told them to leave but they wouldnt go so i got my grandma and she didnt believe me because they wouldnt show them selves to her.. she kept thinking i was crazy and we argued for hours they would do things behind her that i would notice and she couldnt see. or id see the air moving kinda fuzzy.. i was taking a shower and two faces showed up in the shower cutain so i rubbed them away and they came back. i was siitting on couch and the pillows looked like they wear lookin at me and had faces and when id walk around house other things looked like they were moving. my grandma took me to hospital and they let me go. when i got back one of my garabge bags with clothes in it had a face and eyes just looking at me so ignored it and tried to tell them but they didnt know what i was talking about and made me go have a nap i went under the blanket texing and i looked up and it was a face so i quickly flipped it off me. my mom took me later that day to our storage unit and i swear one came along i saw it in the back speaker and when she got out it went in the head part of the seat like little sands or something and it made a really detailed constantly moving picture it went through the air thing in the car and out side where i saw it moving around in the wind then it looked like it got bigger and turned into a grim reeper type thing very large and long but no one eles was around, then we left and it didnt come with us i dont think, ive never had anything like this happen before and its really annoying nobody believes me they think im phyco. my mom took me to the hospital again later and we were in this room and i was crying and looked the chair she was on behind looked like another grim reper type thing and white film started laying out beside it in the air and some bird like fluttering thing was in it but it was on the side so again nobody but me saw. laying in the hospial bed looking at the walls thousands of spirits came flying and me and around even going into my feet and body trying to lay themselves, all different shapes sizes and types. then when i got in the car i looked down at the dark floor and it looked like a hole bunch followed me when the light went on they were gone, i went to bed and turned off light and there was a whole bunch of creatures and spirits and ghosts in there some that didnt seem like they were too nice and my cat even caught something in his mouth and was eating it a it was kinda fluttering and stuff so i grabbed it from him after he bit some of it and went to show my dad and it went invisable, they all think im hillusinating but i know im not this is real and its scary, i just want them to go away there wrecki ng my life please help mee :( i dont know what to do and why they keep following me

My sister is 5 and i am 15. it started when i was sat with me sister on my lap as she was crying after she fell over. And then she said i need to go PEEE PEEE. She had fallen over and hurt and really badly grazed her knee so my dad asked me if i could carry her to the toilet. And this obviously took to long as half way up the stairs she starts wailing and i look down and she has peed all over herself and me. We bathed her and then i took a shower. But then after it healed, she had got too lazy and asked to be carried around everywhere. Me, my mom, my dad and 12 year old brother started to get a bit reluctent to do it. Then one day, she was sat in the garden and my brother was off school as i had exams and she just said CHELSEY I NEED TO GO POOP and i said well go then and she said she didnt need to go anymore. My mom and dad were inside and then 5 minutes later she runs up the stairs into her room and she has pooped herself. So we bathed her again. But now, she wont use the toilet or feed herself. She is very lazy and everytime she pees or poops herself we have to clean her up so she doesnt get infections. She does ot at school too. What shall we do as a family?

Why is Steak 'n Shake so popular in the east coast?

I don't get it. I live in central florida, and I've been to several steak 'n shakes. Every one of them had mediocre to bad service. The waiters/waitresses wouldn't seat you for like 5 minutes or more even when there are booths/tables open. They are too busy running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I know they can be busy, but its so unorganized. It's like they don't know what they're doing. And they are such a pigsty at times, with messy booths/tables not cleaned yet. Soon I will be swimming almost 24/7 for like a week with my family. I want to find a good but cheap waterproof camera so I can take pictures of us underwater. A camera that's in stock too. The camera I have now is a kodak. It was cheap but that's okay cuz it's not like I'm a big photographer. What kind of guitar should i buy?

I'm a novice guitar player who's eager to be a respectable musician, but i'm tired of strumming on my dad's old nylon string... it just feels wrong. I would go to my local music store and ask one of the "professional" salesmen, but i'm apprehensive in that i don't want what to be sold something that he/she is just trying to get off the sales floor. What I'm looking for is a steel string acoustic, one that I can easily play lots of different genres of songs with. I would prefer a cutaway body type, and something moderately stylish wouldn't hurt either. The real kicker however is that i would like something a little more quiet than your garden variety acoustic. I see myself as more of a rocking chair on the porch guitarist than a jam session/wailing as loud as I can guitarist. I know next to nothing about brands, only that most of my friends who play are very opinionated. Any input on shopping for guitars, what to ask, avoid, or anything else helpful is mucho appreciado.

Gosh, this is pretty morbid, how about both legs crushed, punctured organs, brain hemmorages, broken ribs (steering wheel crushes chest), oh burn wounds from the explosion (gotta remember that), so the fire will probably leave the character blind, the ears will probably burn off too. For the person who jumped out, how about he/she hit their head & passes out, has a broken shoulder or ankle (depending on how they land) and minor cuts/ bruising? I hope that's good.

The other day me and my friends went on a series of job interviews at a prestigious chain of Bed and Breakfasts known as "Milfields" all of my friends KILLED on their interviews. They were calm, they answered the questions and were ultimately given jobs. Matteo was the IT guy. My time in the interview seat was finally there. I froze up. I didn't know what to do or what to say. My voice was cracking, and when the interviewer asked "what can you bring to the table?" all I could respond with was "I can be...helpful". I was told that I would be contacted within a week. It's been 2 weeks, and all of my friends got their callbacks in a matter of days. Should I learn how to be a better interviewer, and go back? Or seek out a different source of employment?

So I'm really getting into photography & I need a new camera. The camera I have now is really good but not the best. I think its a kodak easyshare m341. What I primarily want out of the new camera is the focus. For instance, when i focus in on a flower and it's crystal clear, yet the surroundings behind it are intentionally blurry. Durango SLT 4.7 P0700?

I got into my durango last week to go to work started fine reversed fine. Then I put it into drive and in 1st gear the engine was wailing/racing with a loud noise but the rpms were at 1,500. It shifted into 2nd fine and drove great for the rest of the day. Even when I would start out in 1st gear again it was fine. Then yesturday the same thing happened in the morning and again it was fine after it shifted into second. When I got into my car after work the Malfunction Indicator Light"Check Engine Light" came on. I did the key trick to check the code and it was P0700. I know what the code is. I know its telling me that something is wrong in the Trans or TCM. I'm going to the dealer in 2 days because I'm working but the Durango is sitting at home while I drive the van to work. But my question is what part or sensor is broke or in need of repair. I'm not a big car guy so help needed!

Why does my camera keep freezing up?

I have a Kodak M1063 and whenever i turn it on it freezes and won't turn off so i have to let it die but the lens stays open. The last one to use it was my cousin, and he took a ton of pictures in about an hour, and about a week later i went to turn it on for the dance i was going to go to and thats when it it starting freezing and it's been doing this for about a month.

A week ago i bought a Kodak camera. It's the new really nice Kodak Easy Touch Share black. I've been having trouble looking for the right memory card for it. Last week i also had graduation and we couldn't take that many pictures because we didn't have the right one. How do I get my 11 month old son to sleep through the night?

He's a generally good child, but as soon as the sun goes down, he turns into a mess. He wakes up two or three times a night, and wails like someone is hurting him. I've tried everything from feeding him before he goes to sleep, to less naps, more naps, baths, cuddling, later bedtime, earlier bedtime. I don't feed him in the middle of the night, and haven't since he was maybe three months. He was sleeping in my bed, but I've recently been trying to knock that habit. Even when he was sleeping in my bed, he would still get up and move around. I've also tried laying him down when he is drowsy, but as soon as he is laid down, he rolls right over. He even does it in the morning, he rolls right over before his eyes are even open. I'm honestly at my wits end. I can't let him cry, because I live with my parents, and they just flip out, so that is out of the question. I really need help and tips.

Is there any standard or rating for comfort of popular cars seats?

A Micra sounds like a really small car. If so they're going for fuel consumtion and I doubt they'd put higher end seats in. My friend had a Kia a few years ago, the bottom of the line type, brand new, and sorry but it was really uncomfortable compared to the cars I had, but mine were always a little higher end type cars. My 7 month old won't sleep in his crib?

I have a 7 month old baby boy, and he absolutely won't sleep in his crib. My boyfriend and I are deep sleepers, and I've always been scared to put him in his crib in another room for the fear I wouldn't hear him if he cried. So, we've kept him in his bouncy seat that lays back. Now we feel that he's way too old to keep sleeping in that thing, so we're wanting to move him to his crib, but it seems that he cries and cries when he goes in. I just started summer school in my college. In class, as soon as I sat on my seat the first day he smiled at me and said Hi. Then we made small talk. Then later when the professor was lecturing, he asked me silently to add him on Facebook, so I did. Is This poem Any Good?

I love it. The extensive use of imagery especially impresses me. The various sounds mentioned, screams, songs, cries, cracks, and wails are my favorite, but there's not any of that in the second stanza, so, if I were to suggest one thing, it would be to try to make the second stanza as pleasing to the minds eye, and the minds ear, as the first. The feel of the meter and rhythm really do feel like the old west though, I'm very impressed.

Took away baby's pacifier, now fights bedtime?

I have an almost 2 year old. I took away her pacifier almost 4 weeks ago and she still hates going to bed for either naps or nighttime. I put her in her crib, she refuses to lie down so I just say "sleep well" and leave the room. Then she wails, cries and complains for 2-5 minutes tops, then quiets down and sleeps well. She sleeps well yes, but it sucks that it's no longer a happy experience putting her "down" (quotation marks cause she's always standing up when I close her door).
