Movie editing software for Kodak Zi8?

I have a Kodak Zi8 video camera and am looking for a program that allows me to edit my videos and piece them together to make 1 long dvd with music, title slides, and transitions. I tried Windows Movie Maker and for some reason the type of movies recorded on my camera aren't compatible with the program. Any suggestions?
